THEY COME TO AMERICA II
On August 7, 2012, I announced a national tour. The plan was to show THEY COME TO AMERICA at libraries, schools, small playhouses and VFW halls. However, two obstacles arose when I started touring. First, hundreds of people were showing up to see the film; I needed bigger faciliites. Thus, I was spending a majority of my time finding large facilities willing to rent me space. This spurred the second obstable. Due to the subject matter, many facility owners feared a backlash from the community and protesters. Other facility owners didn't welcome my message. My tour became very limited.
Then in September, during the middle of my tour, I appeared on FOX NEWS and something happened which changed the direction of the tour and my life. (Watch the video for details).
Every time the Gang of 8, President Obama and Janet Napolitano spew artificial facts and rhetoric about the borders being secure and the impact of amnesty, they forget the Americans who have sacrificed their lives for this country. Based on what I have seen during my travels, an amnesty for 20 million illegal immigrants will push America over the cliff. In TCTA2, I risk my life, money and career in exchange for the truth to be told about everything from border security to what is driving mass unemployment. Will my film help Congress to finally wake up and reject the immigration reform BILL as it is written? I don't know. What I do know is you will not see any film like it this year, I promise you that.
