USA is No Longer Respected Internationally.

It's bad enough to be a mess domestically, but we are no longer respected internationally.
Last night, on 9/11, the US Ambassador to Libya was brutally murdered by a mob of Libyans. I fear Obama will do nothing about it. If I was the POTUS, I would cut off all aid and hunt down the killers within 48 hours. I would then send a warning to other nations: "Never kill an American."
America needs to stop being pushed around. In 50 words or less what do you think we should do about this horrific event? How do we reestablish our credibility as a world leader?

This will not change overnight. But I hope it will change for the better soon.
No carpet bombing, they will destroy themselves, but we DO need to stand shoulder to shoulder with Israel.
I do not believe any Muslim based country will EVER be amenable to peaceful co-existence with any culture or religion different than it's own Islamic nightmare. History says otherwise.
I do not think we should ever BE the agressor...unless we know for a fact...a country is going to attack us...however I do believe when a country kills someone who is a representative of the US...we MUST make sure the whole country regrets that action. Not just the person or persons responsible. I told my children when raising them...I expect respect...and I earn respect...however if you can't see your way clear to express that by your behavior...I will settle for fear.
Sometimes...I DID settle for fear...and they still tell of those times 20 years later. I consider that respect...LOL. Our country can demand no less.
Dennis, I know you are non-partisan, and I applaud you for that. But don't you think that maybe 2012 is the year you should exercise your responsibility as a citizen and VOTE? I talk to a lot of people who haven't decided how to vote yet, because they don't like either presidential candidate. I'm afraid that many of them may not vote at all, which, in my mind, is a vote for the status quo. I also see the need to reestablish our credibity as a world leader, but before that can happen, we need a president who can lead, and our current president is not the one willing or able to do that!
