Marco Rubio is Selling Out

Marco Rubio is discrediting the recent report published by the Heritage Foundation.  The report states immigration reform in it's current form will cost taxpayers $6.3 Trillion.   Rubio claims the report is, "Deeply flawed."  I agree, only I think it's flawed because it is too conservative.  

The costs will be far greater.   The reform BILL crushes the middle class who will now lose their jobs -- or lose the potential to get a job.  What jobs are at risk? Professions such as delivery driver for UPS and FEDEX, law enforcement, postal worker, nursing, security, construction, department store clerks and managers, the list goes on and on and on.   

Once the BILL passes and the illegals become legal, they will be in hot pursuit to grab the better paying jobs that offer benefits. And please note, the ACLU and advocay groups like LaRaza will place tremendous pressure on companies to ensure they are hiring the "new Americans."  

Marco Rubio is selling out America.  He knows everything I've written here is true.  And if he doesn't, he has no place being a US Senator let alone a presidential candidate.

Marco, our citizenship isn't something that comes inside a Cracker Jack Box.

Paul Ryan Goes Gimmicky

At the bottom of this post is a video of Paul Ryan playing politics with immigration reform and buttering up to Congressman Luis Gutierrez of Illinois (D).  Gutierrez is a fighter for the Hispanic community, which is cool, but elected officials are supposed to represent everyone.  Luis is an uno demographic guy. (I suggest you visit his website and browse the press releases.)

Ryan panders to the crowd with 5-key elements to immigration reform.  My alarm goes off when he goes gimmicky by suggesting the government will collect fines and back taxes.  And then he gets super gimmicky, "The illegal immigrants have to go to the back of the line."

In Houston, the fine for parking in a handicap parking space without a permit is $500.  So the soccer mom parks illegally for 3-minutes to drop off dry cleaning and BANG -- $500 fine.  I bet she won't make that mistake again.  Compare that to the fine proposed in the immigration reform BILL.  A person crosses our border illegally.  They live and work here for years, in some cases, decades.  Their kids go to our schools free of charge.  They drive without a license or insurance so they can get to a job that should go to an American. The punishment for such behavior is $2,000 and a path to citizenship. 

The idea of collecting back taxes is ridiculous.  How many illegals are going to turn over a stolen SS card?  How many will claim years of collecting cash and wiring funds out of the country?  Fact is, it takes a few seconds to rubber stamp a person versus days to investigate the truth.  The government is going to fast-track the entire process and collect peanuts.  Every immigration lawyer in America knows this to be true and will advise their clients to play dumb.

As for illegals going to the back of the line?  I ask, "What line?" The illegal is already here.  The day the BILL is signed the illegal is legal.  Welcome to the new America where we reward the law breaker and punish the law abider.  Paul Ryan, good luck outdoing Rubio for the Latino vote in 2016.

Stand up for America, one bite at a time!

I decided to buy the newest Apple editing system for $7k.  The Apple salesman says the machine takes 10 days to assemble and ship.  In short, I'd receive it by December 17 (yesterday).  Well, the computer never arrived. 

I contact Apple. The service rep claims the order was cancelled.  I push back, "I didn't cancel the order."  She's sorry and offers free shipping if I place a new order.  I ask, "Can you ship it overnight?"  She rejects my request.  I offer to pay for the overnight shipping.  She replies, "We can't ship overnight because the computer is assembled in China."

I've heard enough.  I say, "Apple assembles the product in China?  How much money does Apple need?  How high does your stock price have to climb?  Apple gladly sells its goods to Americans but it won't hire Americans to make the goods?" 

I ended, "Miss, I know it's not your fault but please tell your manager I'd love a new editing system, but I love my country more.  I'm never ordering another Apple product until Apple returns its manufacturing to US soil." 

  

Are Guns the Problem?

When 26 people, most of them children, are shot dead by a madman in Newtown, the country feels uncontrollable sadness.  Then the sadness turns to anger and frustration.  People will begin to ask why this happened? They will point fingers, demand answers and suggest guns are evil. 

Although it's part of an investigation to track the gun ownership, personally, I think it's more important to understand how and why the madman broke into a school and killed innocent people.

Journalism is Dead

Although I am honored to be on the cover of the November issue of SOCO Magazine, it is impossible for me to ignore the mistakes and misquotes appearing in the article.  None of them will do any harm, but it forces me to believe that responsible journalism is dead.

I was interviewed more than a month ago, so there was plenty of time for SOCO to get the facts together.  Here's an example... In the article, they mention I'm currently the Founder and CEO of a computer company.  The fact is I left the company 14 years ago.  I am currently the Founder and CEO of a video and film production company.  Does it matter?  Probably not because it's irrelevant to the story.  That is unless someone reading the article asks themselves, "How and why does the CEO of a computer company find time to produce a film about illegal immigration?"

I'm willing to bet that most of what gets fed to us from the media has some level of inaccuracy.  How can it not?  TV, magazines, newspapers and websites all compete in an environment dictated by speed.  They feel forced to deliver news instantly.  If they don't, the competitor next door will and thus, peril is a certainty.

Quality is the price we pay for speed.  Double checking and confirming facts are too time consuming. Let's face it, ACCURACY is no longer a box on the journalist's check list.   Not only is this sad, it's very dangerous. 

I truly miss the old days when journalistic integrity meant something.   Do you agree?

This Time it's about Solutions

In They Come to America, The Cost of Illegal Immigration, I focused on the problems.  I detailed the costs, both human and financial.  In the sequel, THEY COME TO AMERICA II, I will focus on solutions.  My goal is to answer the question, "So how do we stop it and what do we do with the 20 million people here already?"  

I am not hiring a crew because I do not want them to face any backlash or danger.  I'm filming everything myself.  In many cases, I'm going undercover with hidden cameras.  When needed, I'm altering my appearance.   I'm determined to go face to face with the culprits.  And I'm passionate about interviewing the very best experts -- people who are willing to punch the issue square in the face -- it's the only way to fix the problem once and for all.

My trip across America (Again)

Tomorrow, I am leaving for a 3-week trip across America.  I am driving alone in my car.  I will start heading south.  I will visit MD, GA, FL, TX, AZ and CA.  I will then head back going through the mid-states. 

I will capture footage for two movies. 

(1) SAVED BY PATRIOTS, a documentary about what it means to be a Patriot in a changing America.

(2) THEY COME TO AMERICA II.   This time I will focus on the solutions.

One Last Push

For the past 8 months I've tried to get THEY COME TO AMERICA out to the masses.  Professionally, it's been the hardest task I've ever faced.  Not only was the film rejected by all the film festivals, but I had no money for advertising. 

Even if I had had money to advertise, where would I have ran the ads?  Most media outlets won't touch the topic.  Basically, I was forced to think out of the box, be creative and work my ass off.

Biden the BS Artist

Years ago I owned a computer hardware business.  I had many employees.  Most of them worked in the warehouse.  

Periodically, I'd sit in my office and watch the warehouse surveillance cameras.  Pretty boring stuff.  Then one day I caught an employee stealing. 

Raymond removed 3 laptops from a shelf, stuck them in a garbage can, and then rolled the can to a dumpster outside.  He removed the laptops from the can and placed them deep inside the dumpster.

State Trooper holds me hostage

On Friday of last week I took a 3-hour bus ride into NYC so I could appear on The Blaze TV.   From there I traveled 4-hours via train to DC so I could briefly attend an immigration conference. 

On Saturday morning I rented a car and drove 10-hours so I could give a 12-minute speech at a party thrown by ChicksOnTheRight.com in Indianapolis, IN.   Although I'm an Independent, the Republican ladies who run the website are fans of the film, so it's my way of giving back.

The Hamptons are located on the east end of Long Island.  The ares is famous for oceanfront mansions and celebrity sightings.  From May thru October the area draws a TON of vacationers and second-home-owners from New York City.  Thus, the streets are filled with liberals.

USA is No Longer Respected Internationally.

It's bad enough to be a mess domestically, but we are no longer respected internationally. 

Last night, on 9/11, the US Ambassador to Libya was brutally murdered by a mob of Libyans. I fear Obama will do nothing about it.  If I was the POTUS, I would cut off all aid and hunt down the killers within 48 hours.  I would then send a warning to other nations: "Never kill an American."

America needs to stop being pushed around.  In 50 words or less what do you think we should do about this horrific event?  How do we reestablish our credibility as a world leader?

Remembering 9-11

Today, many politicians will stand at a podium and bow their heads.  Then they'll read a speech about never forgetting.  Then tomorrow will arrive.  The politicians will be right back to where they were on September 10.  They will have forgotten.
